Kundan Meena Atelier

In Jaipur’s Johari Bazaar, kundan-meenakari is not one craft but five — the goldsmith, the engraver, the enameller, the stone-setter and the stringer all touch a single piece.

I trained under my uncle as a meenakar, firing coloured enamel into engraved gold. The back of a good kundan piece is as beautiful as the front — that hidden enamel is our signature of honesty.

Every jadau piece here is set the traditional way, with pure gold foil and uncut stones, no glue, no shortcuts.
